| Agency Producers Rudi Birgenheier
I was raised on a farm and ranch in the Highwood area. From 1982 until 1985, and while in college, I managed the farm and ranch for my mother. At the age of 22, I leased the farm from my mother and aunt and continued to farm until 1996. During the time I farmed, I also had two trucks and hauled grain farm to market, hauling nearly a million bushels a year. I started in the insurance business in 2001 as a production assistant, and then as an agent. I was an agent in Fort Benton for several years, and in the fall of 2005, started at Prairie Mountain Insurance. Agriculture is in my blood, it is what I know and love, and that is why a move to PMI Insurance was so logical because the focus of the agency is agriculture. My wife and I live in Highwood where I am actively involved in the community. I have spent several years on the school board, and have several years under my belt as fire chief. My oldest (daughter) is at the University of Great Falls playing volleyball. My youngest (son) completed first grade this year. I may have to farm again someday, as he loves trucks and machinery, especially combines. I truly enjoy the insurance business, look forward to continuing to work with our current clients, and meeting and working with new clients. Andy Brewer I was born in Fort Benton and lived for a short time on the family farm in the Geraldine area. I graduated from Great Falls High in 1997 and my secondary education includes attending MSU-COT and MSU-Northern where I studied business management. I served as a member of the Montana Air National Guard’s 120th Fighter Wing in Great Falls for six years as an Aircraft Environmental Electrician working on the F-16 Fighting Falcons. While working at the guard unit I was able to obtain my seven level certification which is somewhat equivalent to a master electrician in the civilian world. I was deployed to numerous locations around the world including tours to South Korea and Iraq. Being the son of a fourth generation farmer I am excited to be working with Montana’s Ag community and PMI’s knowledgeable staff who have over 100 years of combined experience with farm, ranch, and crop insurance. I look forward to the opportunity to work with our current clientele and to develop relationships with new ones.
